The Launch Foundation is guided by a Board strong in international business experience in both the profit and non-profit arenas and a renowned Behavioral Scientist.

Additionally, our Board Chairman, who is also our Executive Director, has a life-long history of community involvement and has served on the Ohio Governor’s Community Service Council. Jordan-Mitchell is the concept creator for the “Women in Transition” program that is used in Launch’s comprehensive workshop series offered to shelter, agencies, and prisons at no charge.

Donna Jordan-Mitchell is an EMMY Award-winning former Television Anchor and Author of the book, Failure is Not an Option:  10 Sure-Fire Steps to Success. Chosen as a Dayton Peace Accord Partner in 1997, she worked to help establish strong, humanitarian ties between the United States and Bosnia.  Jordan-Mitchell is a successful motivational speaker and has created a series of seminars to help other people find success. She is also a private pilot who flies a Cessna 182 and has won a city women’s golf tournament
