The Launch Foundation is unique. Its innovative “Women in Transition” program, that teaches strong decision-making techniques, offers one more, crucial layer of support to women who are about to leave shelters and prisons only to return home to face some the same dangers that originally compromised their safety.

“There’s no doubt that bad things do happen to good people. Any woman can become a victim of abuse, violence, or crime either by chance or by codependent behavior. Not knowing how to safely exit their troubled world, some of these women see no alternative but to remain victims and struggle through life. But then there are others who, once victimized, refuse to stay victims. The Launch Foundation helps in both cases by offering disadvantaged women an additional layer of support to help lift them up to a better life.”
